YouTube was first introduced to the community in February 2005. It was created by three former PayPal employees and later bought out by Google. I think it's safe to say that almost everyone has been on YouTube atleast once to view some type of video in the past four years of existance. The type of technology used to provide us with this immense amount database of videos is the Adobe Flash Video. The website is easy to use and is pretty much compatible to all computers. Videos avaliable to us are almost endless while including movie clips, TV clips, music videos, and even blogging clips. Ofcourse, in the past year many copyright issues have comes across YouTube's path enabling them to share some videos, but it still has alot of entertainment available to the public.
everyone knows what youtube is, and I hear it being refrenced almost on a daily basis. "You have to see this video on you tube, it was funny" etc. Even teachers use You Tube as part of their teaching, all of my classes excluding math have gone onto You Tube at least once to show us an interesting video.
ReplyDeleteYou Tube is one of the most extensive forms of entertainment in my opinion. There is so much content from so many different sources. This technology definitely hit the world globally.

ReplyDeleteI just recently learned to how to use youtube, thanks to our instructors. It's pretty cool, and was helpful for blogging. But, I doubt I will use it again anytime soon. (unless it's to watch a music video or something like that.)
ReplyDeleteYoutube is awesome. Me and my fiance could sit for hours looking up funny videos. Our favorite is funny animal videos! Most are better than America's Funniest Home Video and you don't have to be annoyed by commercials or the stupid host!
ReplyDeleteyoutube its my alturitive TV. not olny i can subject myself to the most obscure i can do at the demand of my fingertips. for me Youtube is like the MTV that never existed. i can watch musicvideos of bands most people never even heard of. one of the best sites on the internet!

There is no much content on youtube it is unbelieveable. I love that site. There is so much funny material on that site I can sit there for hours and watch it.
ReplyDeleteEver since I set my eyes on youtube, I've loved it. It is so much easier now finding certain videos, commercials, etc. Whenever I need a good laugh, I go right to youtube!
