Netflix
This video just talks about Netflix and how it works. Personally I think Netflix is a great idea. My brother just got it for me as a holiday present. It was unlimited movies for 3 months. Now I changed the plan to just 2 movies a month because of school and its only $4.99 a month! The unlimited one movie at a time is just $8.99. This is way cheaper than renting one movie at a video store. There are so many packages you can choose from that fits your life style! On the down side this concept is putting many video stores out of business. Do you think it’s good or bad?

Alot of people do talk about how good netflix is. I still have yet to try it. It's like a movie for a dollar and some of the movies are movies you can't get other places. I wanted to rent on the other night that blockbuster didn't have and they only had it on netflix!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to rent movies and not pay a lot. It cost about five dollars to rent a movie at Blockbuster and it has to be returned by a certain day. Netflixs sounds great for people who have a hard time remembering to take back movies on time. I have a friend who owed $80 in late fees for one movie. That is crazy and it was many years ago, but come on. If you have kids who like to rent movies every weekend, it's definitely cheaper to use Netflix.
ReplyDeleteFrom Steve Gudknecht..It's amazing how quickly the video store came and went - soon there will be near zero. Many trips in the car are already reduced due services like Netflix - helping save the environment. The next step is the switchover to internet delivery - I'm sure the scale is slowly tipping in that direction now. This is even more environmentally friendly - no more plastic DVDs. The only social issue is that high tech usually means higher social status / higher income levels and so until higher tech is available to everyone, widespread downloading will lag.
ReplyDeleteNetflix is an excellent idea and I think its the greatest thing. However, a little bird that I know told me that they can be copied. This I think is not such a good thing because the system is definitely getting ripped off and money is being lost. Good though if it is used properly.
ReplyDeleteNetflix is a great business idea. Blockbuster has already copied it. It offers movies through the store. Just bring in a mail-in movie to any branch and rent a movie. It is much quicker than waiting. This also ensures that they get your movie. They have also done away with late fees. In other words, support Blockbuster instead of Netflix.
ReplyDeleteNetFlix was a great idea, especially for those you burn the DVD after renting them. They also basically are putting BlockBuster out of business. Way to go! What like you like how they ripped you off with late fees? Yea! i said it.
ReplyDeleteNetflix is a easy and cheaper way to watch movies. Yes, are places like Blockbuster huuting due to companies like this yes...but everything is so expensive anymore especially renting movies and for families who can not afford to take their children to the movie theater..Netflix allows them to see the movies that they want.

ReplyDeleteNetflix is awesome. To be able to pick out a few movies that you want to see and have them in your hands almost immediately is absolutely incredible. Some may say this is laziness, but i think it is smart. We are not wasting any extra money on movies during this hard time, and not spending money on gas. Thanks netflix, we appreciate it.
